Nicker enjoys moving out and working hard. He has a sound mind and a willing attitude but he is not a pushover. He would make an excellent gentleman's mount. He has been ridden mainly trail miles for the past two years but with a minimum refresher I am sure he will remember all his arena training (30 days professional saddle training). He can take the lead in a group but does not like to be alone. He has an amazing trot and lovely smooth gaits. In summer he keeps a wonderful marcel wave. I would say that he is suitable for an advanced rider or a fearless beginner/intermediate only because of his strong mind......if he thinks that there is nobody up there in control he will take the lead.....
